The Sylvia Park Architecture Chat is a "first of it's kind" architecture forum for Auckland - mostly focusing on developers in the .Net development space... It was floated as an idea prior to the Architecture Camp for 2007, and was consequently started (originally at the Columbus in Ellerslie) - though now it's migrated to Sylvia Park (Mt Wellington) because Ellerslie was too noisy / hard to park at.

We meet up weekly at
Garrisons (the pub, but it does good coffee too) - at 11:30am on every second Thursday - discussions go for between 1 - 1.5 hours, then we grab lunch, and normally dissipate shortly afterwards. You can also contact me via

As Organizer I take notes during the meeting and post up a short blog entry sometime over the following week. I also send out an email and blog post reminding people of the upcoming chat and if there any topics they would like covered.
